And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
My heart goes out to all who live daily in fear that God will not provide. It's easy to feel that way when everything seems barren. We were not promised perfect, we were promised was His Presence. We all search for God's purpose in the tests and trials we face, and wonder why we are anxious and full of fear about tomorrow. We will not always know or even understand everything, that is how faith is established. Faith is not about having all the answers, it's about learning how to live confidently without them.
I am Reminded
Jeremiah 33:14
New King James Version
14 ‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised..."
Ah that good thing that He promised, the promises of God are rich, firmly stated in His word and I believe! However when time passes by and days turn to weeks, months, and even years our faith tends to wobble and shake. When we have little that's tangible( what we can see or touch) to hold onto we tend to rely on our past experiences. If you are someone who is well acquainted with disappointment, let down, and missed opportunities that will be the place you draw from. Seeing God's hand in anything becomes very arduous, but what if that's exactly where God wants you to be?
Salvation is the beginning of your walk with the Lord, Jesus made that possible. Redemption is the restorative journey we enter into, a process of repairing the damage sin has caused. Father God lovingly establishes a place where the lordship of Christ can transform our hearts and minds. Surrendering to this process pleases God and helps us to live a life that glorifies His name in heaven.
Jeremiah 31:14
New King James Version
14" I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance,
And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord"
The Lord is intentional, everything He does has been concisely calculated and orchestrated artistically to execute His purpose. I was sitting here listening to this worship song and I was surrounded by His Presence and with it came a floodgate of reminders that I am loved. I was reminded that God can and will satisfy my every need. It's important to remain sober minded in the truth while you wait. Meditating on the word is key in positioning yourself to hear from God instead of your circumstances. Be diligent about challenging the thoughts that oppress you and brings you into captivity.
God isn't a liar and will perform His word in the earth.
Lift your hands to heaven and ask God to feed you in every place you hunger and thirst.
Bless you!
